How billing works

What uses a credit

One credit is one SMS segment. A message of up to 160 plain characters is one segment; longer messages use more, and emoji or some special characters shorten a segment to 70 characters. The add-on will not let you arm more reminders than your balance covers. New accounts start with no SMS credits.

When you are charged

A credit is taken when a reminder is handed to the SMS provider, and refunded if the provider rejects it. A reminder that cannot be sent at all — no phone number, a landline, a number that has opted out — fails without using a credit.

What uses an invoice token

Bulk Create Invoices and automatic invoicing use one token per invoice. Creating or editing a single invoice, and emailing invoices to clients, are free. Every account starts with 20 free invoice tokens.

Expiry and monthly plans

Pack credits and invoice tokens do not expire while your account is active. If you would rather not top up by hand, monthly plans that add credits every billing cycle are available from the Billing page in the app.

GST and refunds

Prices shown exclude GST, and 10% GST is added at checkout. Unused balances may be refundable — see the Refund Policy, or ask us.
